Torta de Fiambre

  • 150 grams of cheddar cheese
  • 200 grams of ham
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g vegetable oil
  • 240 grams milk
  • 120 grams all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2-1 tsp salt
  • dried herbs like oregano
  • Steps to Follow: Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Grate the cheese and take out the ham. Mix all the remaining ingrediants in a large bowl for about two minutes. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, and then place the ham and cheese on top and pour the remaining batter on top. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the top is golden. Wait for a few minutes before releasing it from the pan and enjoy it hot or cold

    Postre Massini

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 liter double cream
  • vannila
  • cognac
  • icing sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 sponge cake
  • Steps to Follow: Prepare the filling by beating four egg whites with a half cup of sugar. On the side, whisk the half liter of double cream and a splash of vanilla.Mix the two together and then assemble the dessert with a sponge cake plate and then add a layer of the filling and refrigerate it for 2 hours. For the top part you can beat the yolks together with the cornstarch. In a pot, pour 3/4 of sugar and add a little water to cover it. Let it cook until it is in the consistency of sryup. Whisk it continously to incorporate the yolks and bring to a simmer until it comes to a boil. Remove the massini from the fridge and cover it with the cream, sprinkle it with cognac and powdered sugar. If you have a torch you can burn the sugar to give it a better finish.
